December Celebrations

To celebrate Christmas, the children put on a play about what they have been learning in class. Our teachers, Marlon (pictured at the podium)and Karla did an excellent job with the children. As you can see from the set, the play was about Adam and Eve.

Here are some of the kids (including our Rosa in pink) performing. There were about 10 kids who participated in the play. Afterwards, everyone ate cake to celebrate Christmas.

We had two baptisms in the month of December. This is Ever, a teenager whom Steve is discipling. His mother is one of our most faithful members.

This is Jose Luis, the husband of another faithful lady. He has recently been saved and, despite many physical problems, wanted to obey and be baptized.

We ended the year with a special dinner for our church members. The exciting part of the dinner was that Steve and Christine did not have to prepare it. After some help planning, we gave the reins to our people and they did it all! We were able to enjoy a meal, celebrating the end of another year.
